In honor of their 5th reunion, the Class of 2021 is excited to support various funds across all three campuses. As a class that graduated during the COVID-19 pandemic, they’ve identified the SAIS Student Emergency and Hardship Fund as their class initiative, though any gift to any fund is welcome. The SAIS Student Emergency and Hardship Fund supports students by offering them a chance to focus on achieving their academic goals despite temporary emergencies or financial barriers. Your gift can ensure that all students are thriving during their time at SAIS, despite unexpected emergencies! The Fund will provide students with access to essential funding to cover a variety of needs such as food insecurity, housing support, necessary household expenses, unexpected travel costs, loss of income, and more. In honor of our 10th reunion, the class of 2016 has set an ambitious goal to raise $10,000 towards the SAIS Summer Internship Fund (SIF), with a participation goal of 50 classmates giving back. We’re counting on you to help us reach this ambitious goal to bring transformative professional experiences within reach for SAIS students who may otherwise not have the opportunity. The $10,000 goal would allow for at least two returning SAIS students to participate in unpaid or lightly funded, full-time summer internships, paving the way for a future career in the public, private, multilateral, or nonprofit sectors.
While SIF is our targeted class initiative, all gifts made by classmates or friends of the class will be counted towards the 50-person participation goal. Giving back at any level makes a difference in the resources our class can come together to provide for current and future SAIS students.

In honor of their 25th reunion, the Class of 2001 aims to have 40 donors from the class. You are encouraged to make a meaningful gift to any fund at SAIS that means the most to you. Giving participation at any level will help our students to be well-prepared to lead on the global stage. Not sure where to direct your support? A gift to the annual fund at any campus serves as a critical source of funding for the university’s highest priorities – providing support to offer more financial aid or scholarship support for current students. Gifts to the Class of 2000 Bologna Fellowship will count toward your class participation goals. Make your gift here: https://www.givecampus.com/schools/JohnsHopkins/sais-reunion-class-gifts-2026

In honor of their 50th reunion, the Class of 1976 committee encourages their classmates to consider supporting SAIS through a meaningful gift towards an area on campus that means most to them. The Class of 1976 also has a unique opportunity as the first reunion class able to participate in the Johns Hopkins sesquicentennial Legacy Match. Through the Match, donors who name SAIS as a beneficiary of a will, trust, or other plan or who establish a life-income gift can direct 10% of the value of that gift (up to $25,000) to support the area of their choice at SAIS today. Contact Rosemarie Treanor at rtreano1@jhu.edu or 202.570.9643 to learn more and visit https://giving.jhu.edu/legacy-match for more information.
